Happy Fall Y'all!

So far the month of October has been spectacular! We started it off with a trip to Tuscaloosa. The game didn't start until 7:30, but Craig and I got there around 1. He graciously agreed to let me drag him ALL over campus and "reminisce" about my college days. We ate lunch at Buffalo Phil's- DELISH!, walked around downtown, explored the quad, and rested our feet at the AOII house. It was a fabulous afternoon. We couldn't have picked a more perfect day or game!

This Thursday began our Fall Break. We were off Thursday, Friday, and we'll be off Monday. Thursday I enjoyed an early run with Abby and then got to shop with her and Mama. We got pumpkins and some new fall decor for our houses. So fun!

Craig helped top off the day by surprising me with a new MacBook Pro! It was on the counter when I got home from shopping. So exciting!

Friday night, Jeremy and Abby came over to carve and paint pumpkins. We had a good time laughing and our pumpkins turned out quite nice!

Homecoming

Last Thursday was the BJHS Homecoming Parade in Madison. One unique thing about a "small" town like Madison is the tradition of Homecoming. I've been going to the parade since I was in elementary school, then in high school I was in the parade, and now I still love watching it! We met my parents and Robert and Amy and her mom. It was a gorgeous afternoon and the parade was great.

I've known Allison since she was 3. Love watching her on dance team now!

Dr. Dee Fowler- Superintendent
He walked!
BJ Drumline- they are so good!
"Coach" Parker- BJ Principal

Yes, this is Craig running into the street to get the sour patch kids that were thrown.

So the guys in the Homecoming Court drive 4-wheelers. . . .
Except for Levi. . . he drove a pimped out golf cart that played rap music. Awesome.

We ended the night at where else but Casa. We parked there before the parade so we'd be close. Craig and Robert left right before the end of the parade to get us a table and I'm glad they did. Only half of Madison came to eat after there afterwards. It was crazy- but delicious as always! A fun way to end a fabulous afternoon!
